The Protein Bread Company is an Australian owned company that believes in the power of natural high protein, low carb food to inspire and change people’s lives. Founded by siblings Anna & Luke Hopkins who grew up on the far south coast of NSW, they are passionate about using Australian ingredients – many of which come straight from the farm such as golden flax meal grown in south-west Victoria, almond meal from Renmark in S.A, lupin from Irwin Valley in W.A and whey protein from Warrnambool in VIC.
The challenges of modern day living can mean that many consumers really don’t know how good their body can feel. The Protein Bread Company aims to change this through creating beautiful, natural, high protein, low carb products that are accessible to all Australians.
Luke, after leaving school at just 15 to pursue his passion for marketing, soon after started his own successful agency – which he ran for 9 years before co-founding The Low Carb Living Group with his sister, Anna in 2014.
After struggling with his weight as a teenager Luke discovered first-hand the transformative effect that a high protein, low carb diet can have on your body, energy levels and mental clarity – going from an overweight couch potato to an active, energetic fit and healthy athlete with a passion for life.
This first-hand experience drives him towards his ultimate vision of helping make Australians and people all around the world fitter, stronger, healthier and ultimately happier, through the power of eating low carb.
Today he combines his know-how in leveraging digital and mechanical technologies with his background in marketing to help drive The Protein Bread Co. to help as many people as possible experience the powerful difference low carb living will make in their life.

Anna has a diverse background including 10 years leadership with global food retailer McDonalds. Transitioning smoothly from corporate to startup – Anna founded the health focused Whole Meal Café in 2010 where she created Protein Bread, Australia’s Lowest Carb Bread.
Successfully selling the Café in 2014 she Co-Founded The Low Carb Living Group.
Growing up in regional Australia, Anna is passionate about incorporating sustainable natural ingredients into healthy products for everyday consumers. Like most females, Anna wants to feel her best in a bikini on the beach, yet also has a weakness for cocktails and canapés!
After experiencing the positive impact that low carb foods have on her body, mind and life she is excited to be able to guide and inspire people all around the world to also experience these benefits for themselves, and feel better than they ever dreamed they could.

With a background in corporate finance and accounting, Aaron is passionate about the power of business to change people’s lives.
He lives our eat well, feel great motto daily and values the mental clarity and energy he gains from being low carb. When he’s not at work, you will find him at bootcamp, training for his next trail run or reading.

Kathy has worked in journalism, media and communications over the past decade, and has postgraduate qualifications in Nutrition and Health Communication. She grew up in Perth where she studied Journalism, has lived and worked in Europe and London, and now lives in Sydney.
She was diagnosed with late-onset type 1 diabetes at the age of 20 and follows a low carb diet to manage her diabetes.
She is really passionate about food, cooking, nutrition and health. If she’s not in the kitchen baking and playing around with ingredients, she’s visiting farmers markets, reading about nutrition, scrolling through food pics on Instagram, or browsing food blogs.

Senior Designer/Brand Manager
Corinne has always had a passion for design and visual arts. From hours of sketching animals as a young child, painting throughout her teens and then completing a Bachelor in Visual Communications at UTS. Corinne has worked in the design industry for almost 10 years and has a particular love for photography, illustration and branding.
Growing up on land with an Italian heritage, a lot of her food came from what was grown in the backyards of her parents or grandparents. With her mum’s love for nutritious clean foods, it was only destiny that she would have a similar relationship with food. Needless to say, you will still find her munching on carrot sticks, raw beans and cucumbers.
Corinne truely believes that food has the power to make us ill or buzzing with energy and life.
