So how does it taste?

Similar to a wild rice or quinoa rice blend, P300 High Protein Rice has a nutty taste and slightly chewy texture thanks to the unique combination of kibble lupin, brown rice and black rice.

4 great ways to make 2 serves of P300 Protein Rice

OPTIONAL – For extra deliciousness, add 1 tsp butter or olive oil, and a pinch of salt.

MICROWAVE – 25 MINUTES

  1. Add 2/3 cup P300 Protein Rice (120g) and 2 cups of water into a microwave safe container.
  2. Place the lid on top, leaving a corner uncovered, and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove from the microwave and stir the contents.
  4. Cook on HIGH uncovered, for a further 10 minutes, then fluff the rice with a fork before serving.

STOVETOP – APPROX. 50 MINUTES

  1. Add 2/3 cup P300 Protein Rice (120g) and 2 cups of water into a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to the boil, then turn down onto a very low heat and cook for 50 minutes.
  3. Turn off stove, cover saucepan with a lid and leave to rest for a further 10 minutes.
  4. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.

RICE COOKER – APPROX. 40 MINUTES

  1. Turn rice cooker on.
  2. Add 2/3 cup P300 Protein Rice (120g) and 2 cups of water into rice cooker.
  3. Switch your rice cooker to “Cook”, stir after 20 minutes to remove any clumps and then cook for approx. 20 minutes more or until complete.
  4. Once complete, fluff the rice with a fork before serving.

ELECTRIC PRESSURE COOKER – 15 MINUTES

  1. Turn pressure cooker on.
  2. Place 2/3 cup P300 Protein Rice (120g) and 1 cup of water in pressure cooker.
  3. Close the lid and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes.
  4. Once complete, fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
