Juicy Date and Walnut Loaf Recipe

Our Famous Date and Walnut Loaf recipe – make it yourself at home! A delicious snack or healthy alternative to banana bread. Enjoy it toasted with butter… It’s the best!

Ingredients

250g Protein Bread Mix

150g Egg White (approx. 5 egg whites)

500ml Water (2 cups)

220g Chopped Dates

2 teaspoon cinnamon

50g Walnuts

50g Sunflower seeds

Equipment

1 Large Mixing Bowl

1 Loaf Tin – Measuring approx. 9cm x 9cm x 24cm

An Oven

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius

2In a large bowl, combine the Bread Mix, Egg White, and Water. Mix well to ensure there’s no lumps.

3Let sit for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally

4Add all the remaining ingredients and mix together well

5Pour the mixture into a baking paper lined loaf tin

6Bake for 40 minutes, rotate the loaf, bake for a further 40 minutes

7Enjoy!
